John Walter Fabian passed away on November 11th at home surrounded by his family.
John was born in 1953 in Syracuse NY. to Peter and Pauline Fabian.
He was a graduate of Sacred Heart Schools, and also an honors graduate of Alliance College in Cambridge Springs, PA. where he was a frat member and participated in the Kujiawiaki Polish folk ensemble. He worked as a nurse for New York State until his retirement. A member of the Masonic Lodge, John's love of music also led him to membership in the Harmony Katz barber shop quartet group.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Nancy and is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Reid (Myris), granddaughter, Tamara Custer (Patrick), 4 great grandsons, and brother Peter Fabian.
Calling hours will be on Saturday from 1-4pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, with services at 4pm.
