John F. Bulger, 85, of West Monroe, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 1, 2009. He was the son of John Thomas and Phoebe Bulger of Massena, NY. He joined the Navy and served during the duration of World War II in the South Pacific. He returned to Massena, NY married and settled in Syracuse. He worked for Crouse Hinds from 1966, retiring in 1991. He enjoyed eaing out, gardening and spending time with family and pets.
John is survived by his daughter, Debra Buckley; three sons, Clark, Mark and Kenneth Roberson; his sister, Mary Giroux; six grandchildren, Tammy, Cynthia, Clark Jr., Jeffrey and Christopher; nine great-grandchildren; several neices and nephews.
Services will be held Saturday 1PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St, North Syracuse.
