John Edward Gustina (Jack), 87 died peacefully at home in Chittenango Thursday surrounded by his loving children after a brief illness.
Jack was a World War II Navy Veteran. He is retired from GE and Burnet Type and Rule; the family owned business.
He is predeceased by his wife Marjorie (Rose) as well as his brothers: James, Charles, Fredrick, and Michael and sister Betty Jane.
He is survived by his sister Peggy Sopchak, his daughters: Barbara (Bobbi) (Russ) Miller of Florida, Brenda of Syracuse, Karen (Steve) Johnson of Auburn, Joanne of Chittenango, sons: James of Chittenango, and Fredrick of Constantia, 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
There will be no calling hours. 11 am Mass will be Wednesday 9/18 at St. Patrick's Church, Rte. 5 Chittenango with graveside service to follow at Oakwood Cemetery on Lake Street in Chittenango.
