John E. Baker, 59, formerly of Pulaski, passed away on Tuesday. He was born on June 25, 1954 in Syracuse, son of Floyd, Sr. and Vera Wilcox Baker. He served in the US Air Force as a SSGT. from 1973-85. He received many awards during his service. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion. He enjoyed golfing and the outdoors. He was predeceased by his wife, Sharon, his parents, brother, Bobby and a sister, Mary Jane.
Surviving are his son Sean (Diana) Baker, 2 daughters, Tanya Baker-Singleton, Nicole Daniel, 10 grandchildren, 2 sisters, Rita and Shirley, 4 brothers, Floyd, Jr., Joe, Don & Tom.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4-6pm with services to follow at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse.
