John Francis Danquer, 40, left his earthly presence on the morning of June 5, 2021. Welcoming into his eternal life are his life partner, Rebecca "Becky" Powers and paternal grandparents, Robert and Carmella Danquer.
Left behind to cherish the best of his memories is his beloved daughter, Emily Danquer. Also left behind are his parents, John and Tammy Danquer of Fulton; siblings, Angelic (Jason) Wright of Liverpool, James (Dani Magrisi) Danquer of Fulton, Brittani (Paul D'Agostino) Danquer of Mamaroneck, and Tori (Kyle) Crisafulli of Baldwinsville; and his beloved granddaughter, Natalie Johnson.
Also mourning his loss are his special nieces and nephews including Andrew Wright, Lauren Wright, Mason Crisafulli and Alivia Crisafulli; grandparents, James and Loretta Delahunt; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Born in Oswego, and raised in the Fulton/Phoenix area, John attended and graduated from the Phoenix School District. After graduation he entered into the Navy. He was affectionately known as John-John by those who loved him. He was mechanically inclined and applied those skills while working for the Local 1163 Millwright. Like his father, John-John was a very talented mechanic and "jack of all trades". He was quick to help anyone who needed anything fixed.
His favorite past-time was riding dirt bikes and four wheelers, and he enjoyed many years playing hockey. He also liked traveling with his family and found great joy at the beach. John was comical yet had a huge heart especially for Emily and Natalie.
John also held great compassion for all animals, and had special affection for his pets, Luke, Bella, Jarvis, Jackson, Porter and Daisy.
In honor of his memory, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, friends and family consider a donation in John's memory to United Friends of Homeless Animals, 432 Centerville Road, Richland, NY 13144. Donations can also be made through their website using PayPal. UFHAshelter.com
Services for John are private and will be held at the convenience of his family and friends.
