John A. Danko, 79, of Syracuse, passed away June 24, 2017. John was born in Monongahela, Pennsylvania on March 3, 1938 to the late Michael and Anna Danko.
John was owner and operator of JAD Services in Kirkville, NY, where he serviced and repaired fax machines, computers and laser printers, he retired in 2003.
In his free time, he enjoyed attending SU Football and Basketball games, was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan, enjoyed visiting with family, fishing, camping and long walks. John also enjoyed participating in his children's sporting events as coach and referee.
At his retirement home, he enjoyed social gatherings, bbqs, picnics and ice cream socials.
He is survived by Daughter, Lisa Woodruff of Baldwinsville, Son, Michael J. Danko of Eastwood, Daughter, Vicki (Ernie) Reape of Watertown, Grandsons, Alex, Matthew, Jason Reape, Granddaughters, Vanessa Woodruff, Breanna Danko, Brother, Tom Danko and Cousins, Carolyn and Robbie. Predeceased by his Brother, Sam and Sister, Margaret.
Family and friends may call on Thursday, June 29, 2017 from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 North Main, North Syracuse, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 7:00 pm. Interment at North Syracuse Cemetery.
