John D. Isgro, 85, of Jamesville and formerly of North Syracuse, passed away Thursday at home.
He was born in Bridgeport, CT. He graduated from North High School, Syracuse and was a veteran in the Korean War. John worked for several banks in the Syracuse area, serving as Senior Vice President for Goldome Savings Bank and retired from Chase Lincoln Bank. He sang with the Syracuse Oratorio Society. He attended Northminster Presbyterian Church and Liverpool First United Methodist Church. He is predeceased by a sister, Jean McKaig.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lorraine; a son, Brian Isgro; a daughter, Pamela (Dennis) Seeber; granddaughter, Brittany Seeber; sister, Anne (Benjamin) Nevin; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Monday from 11-1PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main. St., N. Syracuse. Service will follow at 1PM at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to either the SPCA or American Cancer Society.
