John Cox
March 13, 1931 — October 30, 2023
John Cox, MSGT (Air Force Ret.), 92, formerly of Ithaca and most recently of North Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 30, 2023 with his family by his side. John was an avid outdoorsman, hunter and naturist who lived life with an outlook towards simplicity.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sondra; son, Douglas (Amy) Cox; daughters, Susan Cox and Lisa (Kevin) Stone; granddaughters, Megan Elizabeth Stone and Amanda Lee Stone; great-granddaughter, Mia Lee Stone.
In keeping with John's wishes, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in John's name to Hospice of CNY, 990 7th North St., Liverpool, NY 13088.
