John "Jack" Charles Cooper

John "Jack" Charles Cooper, 72, of Fairmount, passed away Tuesday. He worked for Sealtest Ice Cream Co. for 24 years and volunteered with the Valley Little League.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Clara Mae Cooper; four sons, Charles (Julie), Jerome (Dava), Ronald and Elvis (Heather) Cooper; a daughter, Cindy (Jerry) Ragonese; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; two brothers, Duane Cooper and Joseph LaTour; four sisters, Dorothy Grisaffi, Shirley Mitchell, Mary Fragola and Linda Brown; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Saturday, 9 AM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Calling Hours will be Friday from 3-7PM, at the funeral home.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Fairmount Fire Dept.
