John Colasanti

John Colasanti, 80 of Cicero, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Born in Syracuse on August 20, 1937. He proudly served in the US Navy. He worked for over 45 years in the floor covering business. John was a Little League Baseball coach, was an avid NY Yankee and SU Basketball fan. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his grandchildren were the love of his life. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, JoAnn; children, John (Joan) Colasanti, Lisa (Frank) Giglio and Jayme (Maureen) Colasanti; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; siblings, Alfred, Daniel, David and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will take place at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, North Syracuse on Thursday 4-7pm. Funeral Service will follow at 7pm. Interment will be private.
