John Christopher Humphrey

John Christopher Humphrey, 42, of Syracuse, went home to be with the Lord on Monday at Community General Hospital, after a short illness.
He was born in Auburn, NY to the late Pastor John C. Humphrey, Jr. and Rosa C. Humphrey Brown (Dr. Henry M. Brown). He was employed by the Roman Catholic Diocese.
Christopher enjoyed spending time with his son, Jalen and fiancée Shavel, exercising and was an avid Dallas Cowboys Fan.
He is survived by his fiancée, Shavel, son Jalen, his mother, Rosa Christine (Dr. Henry M.. Brown), brother Jason Humphrey, cousin Capt. Danielle Crabtree and her husband Phil Crabtree, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 10-12pm at the Abundant Life Christian Center, 7000 All Nations Blvd., E. Syracuse, with services to follow.
