John C. Panaro, 83, life-long-resident of North Syracuse, died after recently moving to Las Vegas, NV. He joined the Navy and served in both WWII and Korea. He received his degree from Syracuse University and his Masters from Rutgers University. In 1985 he retired from J.P. Morgan/Chase Bank after 40 years. John was an active charter member of Faith Lutheran Church in Cicero.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Marvel Panaro; 2 children, Susan (James) Kelley of Las Vegas and David (Kelley) Panaro of Buffalo; five grandchildren, Monica and Jim Johnson of Las Vegas and Nicole, Jennifer and Matthew Panaro of Buffalo.
Services were held in Las Vegas.
Donations can be made in lieu of flowers to Faith Lutheran Church, 6142 Route 31, Cicero, NY 13039.
