John L. Burrell, Sr.
July 18, 1951 — February 10, 2020
John L. Burrell, Sr., 68, of Syracuse, passed away on Monday with family by his side. John was an avid fisherman. He enjoyed watching SU sports, baseball and the San Francisco 49ers.
John was predeceased by his parents, William and Repolia Burrell; brothers, Moses, Charles, Cornelius and Willie Burrell; sister, Ann Margaret.
He is survived by his son, John L. Burrell, Jr.; sisters, Ann (Leonard) Williams and Bernice Thomas; brother, Darrell Burrell; sister-in-law, Yvonne Reid; grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 18th 10am-12pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals with a service to follow at 12pm. Burial will follow in Loomis Hill Cemetery.
