John E. Barnum, Sr.
January 21, 1943 — December 2, 2020
John E. "Jack" Barnum, Sr., born January 21, 1943 was called Home on December 2, 2020. He served in the US Army, stationed in Vietnam. He served two terms as Commander at Tipperary Hill Post Legion 1361. Jack attended Solvay High School.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Janet (Knapp) Barnum; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Tracy Barnum Kulas; son, John Barnum, Jr.; siblings, Ruth Andrews, Donald Barnum, Robert Barnum, Richard Barnum, Gladys Cheruk, Arlene Pascuzzi and Herbert Barnum.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, December 19th 2-5pm at New Comer Cremations and Funerals. A service will be private for the family.
Gathering size within our chapels will be based on the most current NYS occupancy requirements. Masks are required and social distancing is to be observed inside and outside of our chapels.
