John W. Adams

November 22, 1940 — September 10, 2017

John "Bill" W. Adams, 76, passed away on Sunday after a long illness. He was born in Hornell, NY, grew up in the Rochester area and graduated from Irondequoit High School. After high school, he served 4 years in the Air Force and had a lifetime career in the dental industry. Bill settled with his family in the Liverpool/N. Syracuse area. He was active in several magic clubs, a member of the Liverpool Masonic Lodge and was a genealogy enthusiast. He enjoyed spending his time up north at the family camp.

Bill was predeceased by his parents, John H. Adams and Doris (Adams) Carlson.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jan (Sayward) Adams; two children, Doug (Janice) Adams of Colorado and Donna L. Adams of Syracuse; 3 grandaughters, Julianne, Jennifer and Jessica all of Colorado; 2 brothers, Richard (Marla) Adams of Massachussetts and Jim Adams of Minnesota and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 23rd 2-3PM at New Comer Cremations and Funerals , N. Syracuse with a memorial service to follow at 3PM.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Resources of CNY.
