John A. Edlund, 83, of North Syracuse, passed away on Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was born on January 7, 1932 in Syracuse, son of the late John Edlund and Elizabeth (James) Wood. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict and retired from Chrysler Corp. after 25 years. He enjoyed auto racing, politics, the stock market and most of all he enjoyed his grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife Joan of 56 years, 3 children; Craig (Laura), James (Kelly), Jaye (Angelo) Tubolino, 2 grandchildren; Erika & Andrew, along with his sister Donna (William) Moore.
Services will be private.
