John A. Basar Jr., 61, Buffalo, NY, passed away Friday at Francis House after a prolonged illness.
He is survived by his two children, Myra Basar and Lena (Joe) King ; one grandson, Connor Joseph; three sisters, Jo Ann Riker, Jackie Howl, Judy Basar, his former wife, Deborah (Whitney) Basar. John was predeceased by his parents, John A. Basar Sr. and Laura Jane (Burleson) Basar; a brother, Joseph (Josh) Basar, and his dog, Chuck, his constant companion. Our dear Father, brother, son, husband and friend – you will be deeply missed by us all.
A Memorial gathering will take place in the summer of 2009.
