Johanna Z. Lutsche

Johanna Z. Lutsche, 92, of Syracuse, NY where she resided with her late husband, Frederick Lutsche for over 60 years. Johanna and Frederick loved to play cards, Pitch and Pinnocle, and also Rummikub with their friends. A few years ago, she moved to Lockport, NY to be closer to her oldest daughter, Mary Anne Cappon, where she passed away on July 2, 2021.

Johanna was born in Zapfendorf, Germany on May 11, 1929 to the late Martin and Margarete Zeis.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Lutsche and grandson, Christopher Blok.

She is survived by her two daughters, MaryAnne Cappon and Rosemarie (Richard) Blok; two granddaughters, Laura (Dan) Taggart and Audrey (Matthew) Reinke; grandson, Jeffrey (Johanna) Cappon, sister, Mary Giacomini (Chuck Anspach) and great granddaughters, April and Amanda Vose, McKenna Taggart and great grandsons, Colin Taggart, Gabriel Cappon, Luke and Logan Reinke, and her niece, Irma (Michael), Cole, Victoria and Olivia LaFlamme.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, July 11th 2-4 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 12th 10am at St. John the Baptist Church in Syracuse with burial to follow in Assumption Cemetery.
