Joanne M. Berman, 62, of Syracuse passed away Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital. Born in Ogdensburg, NY she was employed with Van Duyn Home and Hospital for many years. She is predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Harriet (Sobie) Jellie and a son-in-law Gerald Kelley.
Joanne is survived by her husband Murray Berman, four daughters; Heidi (Jeff) Buckman, Lorri Kelley, Patrice (Mike) Ackerman and Jacquelyn (Dave) Koslowsky, a brother; Michael (Jo Marie) Joly, a sister; Jean (Tom) Gigantelli and four grandchildren; Brittney, Caitlyn, Reese and Noah.
Services will be held on Wednesday at 10 AM in St. Rose of Lima Church, North Syracuse. Burial will be private. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Tuesday from 4-7 PM at New Comer Family Funeral Home, 705 North Main Street, North Syracuse.
