Joann Manor
February 2, 2016
After a long battle with cancer, JoAnn M. Manor died on February 2 2016 peacefully in her home in Brewerton NY at the age of 58. She leaves behind her daughters, Aimee and Stacy Manor: and her sons, Raymond Manor JR, and Allen Cox JR.
JoAnn was born on January 9, 1958 in Syracuse NY to father Joseph St.Andrew and mother Marguerite Mothersell, who predeceased her. She grew up in a large, loving family with nine brothers and sisters.
JoAnn married Raymond Manor Sr and they lived together in Syracuse, NY where they raised their three children together. She worked for many years as a Home Health Aide and cared for elders in their homes. She always treated her elders as her own family and loved them as one of her own.
JoAnn enjoyed crafts and cross stitching and loved to spend time with family. When diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2015, she remained dedicated to care for her youngest child and in her will to fight her illness. She eventually moved in with her sister where she spent the remaining of her time. Throughout her long battle she remained a brave, iron-willed woman, even throughout her final months.
JoAnn is survived by her children and as well as her sisters, Kathy St.Andrew, Brenda Easter and Rose Mary Centrone: her brothers, Mathew, John, Jim, and Robert St.Andrew: and numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She is predeceased in death by her husband Raymond Manor Sr, and her companion Allen Cox Sr: her parents: her brothers, Joseph and Lewis St.Andrew Sr.
JoAnn requested to be cremated and wishes to have no services. Her ashes will be with family and later interred in a plot arranged by family. Family will hold a private memorial on Sunday February 7, from 2-4. Please contact family for further information.
