Joan Mason Timmons, 89 of North Syracuse, NY passed away on October 22nd, 2022.
She was born in Binghamton, NY on April 8th, 1933 to the late Richard and Julia Mason.
She was a graduate of Marywood College. Prior to her career of 20 years working for General Nutrition she raised her 9 children. She was an avid artist as you may have seen her award winning work over the years as she exhibited at the NYS Fair and the Lorenzo Driving Competition for the past 46 years. She was a member of several Art Guilds over the years and most recently the North Syracuse Art Guild. Her love of horses was shown through her artwork.
She is predeceased by her Husband, Richard A. Timmons; Son, Richard M. Timmons and a Daughter, Carol R. Timmons-Small.
She is survived by her children, Judith (Nick) Sidari, Anita (Gary) Carmicheal, Susan Timmons, Edward (Sandy) Timmons, Mary (Rodney McVey) Jarvis, Eugene (Mary Yerdon) Timmons and Peg (Jamey) Halterman; Several Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren; Step-Son, Richard (Kathy) Lavina; Step-Daughter, Joannie Viega.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday, October 28th at 10:30 AM at St. Rose of Lima Church. Burial will follow in North Syracuse Cemetery.
