Joan Sill, 79, of Cicero passed away peacefully on Tuesday at Francis House. Born in Syracuse, she was a Staffing Coordinator at Castle Rest Nursing Home. Joan was a Girl Scout leader in the 1960's and 70's. She is predeceased by her parents, Frederick and Olive Wells and her husband, Donald Sill (1972).
She is survived by her son David Sill, her daughter: Patricia Shader, 5 grandchildren; Meghan MacDonnell, Kolby Sill, Jason, Leah and Ryan Shader and 4 great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 5-7 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 North Main St. (Rte 11), North Syracuse, NY 13212. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens.
Contributions may be made to Francis House and/or Hospice of CNY.
