Joan M. Peluso

Joan M. Peluso, 84 of Syracuse, NY, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2021. Born on March 29, 1937 in Everett, MA and moved to Syracuse in 1955 where she worked as a Paralegal for over 50 years.

She was a hard working, devoted mother who always put her children first. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and traveling.

Joan is survived by her children, Karen A. Cahill (Peluso) and Kristine M. Peluso (Michael Doyle); grandchildren, Edward and Grace Cahill and their father, Michael E. Cahill; brother, Robert (Claire) Venditti.

Predeceased by her former husband, Joseph S. Peluso; mother, Grace C. Guarente; father, James "Jack" Venditti and her brother, Jimmy Venditti.

Family and friends may call at New Comer Cremations & Funerals on Thursday, July 1, 2021 from 9-11am. Funeral Service will follow at 11am. Private burial will take place at Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay, NY.
