Joan Lewis, 80, of North Syracuse passed away at home on Sunday. She spent her career as a nurse and retired from Upstate Medical Center.
She is survived by her daughters Deborah Emmert of Cicero, Dona Lewis Pearce of PA, Denise Comins of Sandy Creek, Diane Mahaney (Larry Dennis) of North Syracuse and her son Don Lewis (Hannah) of Syracuse. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank everyone who helped Joan so that she could remain at home.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4-6 pm at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church, 435 S. Main St., N. Syracuse.
Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Friday from the church.
Contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Luther Memorial.
