Joan L. Fielding, 89, of North Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Tuesday. Born in Ogdensburg, she was the daughter of Anna and Morton Robinson. She graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy and she worked for the NYS Mental Hospital in Ogdensburg, NY. Joan cherished spending time with her family. She enjoyed crafts, bowling and all outdoor activities.
She is survived by her husband, of 63 years, Gerald Fielding; daughter, Patricia (Wayne) Walker; a sister, Belle (Warren) Baker; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Monday, 10AM at New Comer Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the North Syracuse Cemetery. Calling Hours will be Sunday from 1-4PM, at the funeral home.
She will be missed by all who knew and loved her for the gentle loving person she was.
