Joan B. Joy, 88, of Syracuse, passed away December 13, 2020.
Joan was born in Syracuse, New York on August 21, 1932 to the late Daniel and Kathryn Dougherty.
Joan retired from Chicago Title after 25 years. In her free time, she loved reading, knitting, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Charles Joy and Daughter, Janet Fahey.
She is survived by her Sons, David (Joan E.) Joy and Edward Joy; Brother, Richard (Ann) Dougherty; Three Grandchildren, Jeffrey Joy, Kevin Joy, Patrick Joy;
Visitation will take place on Tuesday from 10–11 AM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse. Services will be private. Burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Alzheimer's Association.
