Joan F. (Nash-Swind) Durkee, 74, of Liverpool, passed away Thursday at James Square. She was predeceased by her daughter, Hope and her sister, Bonnie Lawton.
Joan is survived by her children, Thomas, Daniel, Donna and Jennifer Nash, Candace Smith, Sherry Belanger, Kelly Hartz and John Swind; brother, Nick Berger; 24 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Services will be Monday 7 p.m. at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Calling hours will be Monday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home, before services.
A memorial gathering will be Sunday from 5-8 p.m. at Tipp Hill American Legion, 1951 W. Fayette St., Syr, NY. The family would like to thank James Square Nursing Home B-South for their wonderful care.
