Joan A. Edlund

Joan A. Edlund, 91, of North Syracuse, passed away on January 18, 2025. 

Joan was born in Syracuse, New York on June 5, 1933 to the late Jack and Gertrude Webber. 

Joan was apart of what they call the “silent” generation and she truly embodied that throughout her entire life. She never wanted or complained and her main focus was her children and grandchildren. She was the best secret keeper and confidant for everyone in her life. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Edlund. 

She is survived by her daughter, Jaye (Angelo) Tubolino; Two sons, James (Kelly) Edlund, Craig (Laura) Edlund; four grandchildren, Erika (Anthony) DePasquale, Andrew Edlund, Lincoln Tubolino, Carter Tubolino and her sister-in-law, Donna Moore. 

Visitation will take place on Thursday, January 23rd from 10-11 AM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse. A service will follow at the funeral home at 11 AM. Entombment to follow in Woodlawn Mausoleum.
