Joan A. Dwyer, 82, of Kirkville, passed away on Wednesday.
She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Aunt. Joan worked as a Secreatry at Dairy Lea for over 30 years. She was a longtime member of the Syracuse Women's Bowling League. Joan was an avid card player, especially at family gatherings.
She was predeceased by her parents, Josephine and Karl Schlie and a sister, Jean Schlie.
Joan is survived by her 2 children, Karen (Bruce) Henderson-Flaig and Christopher (Karen) Dwyer; 4 grandchildren, Michael, Nicole, Darcy (Jake) and Jacob; 3 sisters, Jane Wright and June Killian of Kirkville, NY, and Linda Nichols of Faith Crossville, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Monday 4-6PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse with a memorial service to follow at 6PM.
