Joan (Dombrowski) Drury

Joan Dombrowski Drury passed away peacefully on Tuesday after a long illness. Joan and her twin sister, Jean were born on October 3, 1963 in Syracuse, NY to Betty and Leon Dombrowski. Joan graduated from North Syracuse High School. She was employed at Allstate Insurance for several years before going to Crouse/Commonwealth in 2007, working until 2020. Joan enjoyed the outdoors; she loved hiking, being by the water, music and was taking guitar lessons. She especially loved spending time and traveling with her family. Joan also enjoyed playing Bunko and going to dinners with her many friends. Joan was a very spiritual, giving and caring person to anyone that crossed her path. She was never without a smile on her face up until the day she passed.

Joan is survived by her brother, Stanley Dombrowski; sisters, Susan Tassone, Linda (Fred) Boyle, Karen (Todd) Graves and Kathy (Danny)Callas; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, Betty and Leon Dombrowski and her twin sister, Jean Dombrowski.

There will be graveside service at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Joan to the Francis House.
