Joan D. Bigness-DeVaul, 89 of Syracuse, NY passed away peacefully on June, 4th, 2022. Born in Syracuse on July 17th, 1932 to the late Clifford and Marceline VanVelde.
She loved bowling, her senior trips to the casinos and loved pets and family get togethers. She was an amazing mother to everyone.
She is survived by her children, Glen Bigness, Howard (Marie) Bigness, Lynn Klisz, Brian Bigness and Ray (Kristy) Bigness; grandchildren, Danielle, Brandon, Corey, Erica, Macenzie, Kayleigh; several great-grandchildren; sister, Linda VanVelde.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 9th, 2022 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals from 4-7pm. Burial will take place on Friday, June 10th, 2022 10am at St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
