Jessica A McGuire, 49, of East Syracuse, passed away May 14, 2022.
Jessica was born in Syracuse, New York on June 1, 1972 to David and Patricia McGuire.
She was married to Shawn C. Ellis and is the rock of their small family in East Syracuse. Jessica was amazing and always one hundred percent optimistic. Jessica fed the world five star cuisine and hosted outrageous parties (constantly).
She loved her home, her Pontiac Firebird Formula 350 and she was the best chicken mom ever. She had a deep love for animals and a very kind soul. Especially her two black cats she referred to as her minions. She was the glue that kept the family together.
Jessica believed in family most and believed in fairytales. She wouldn't take no for an answer. She lived a fairytale life. Jessica was predeceased by her father David H. McGuire.
She is survived by her loving husband, Shawn Ellis; son, Jaden Christopher Ellis-ESM Honors Student; sister, Heather (Jesse) McGuire; Otti her Pug, Dave her 90lb pit bull; cats, Mitsi, Trixi, Clawdia, Ryan, Smoochie, Lynx, Luna, and her wild NMC; chinchillas, Terrance, Lincoln, and Nigel; and niece and nephew, Sarah Rice, and Nickolas (Sarah) Rice; aunt and uncle, Ryan and Julie Greenwood; mother in law, Joann Tongue; brother-in-law, Sonny.
Calling hours will be held, from 1-3pm, on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at Collamer United Methodist Church, 6865 Fly Road, East Syracuse, NY.
A pool party to celebrate Jessica's birthday will immediately follow at 6746 Myers Road, East Syracuse, NY.
