Jerry A. Young

Jerry A. Young, 54 of Syracuse, NY, passed away on Friday, March 25th, 2022. Born in Syracuse, NY on February 12th, 1968. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Army during the Iraq War. Jerry was part of the damage control during 9/11.

Jerry loved God, his family and his country. Jerry was dearly loved by his family. He was a devoted husband, Dad and friend. He helped everyone, even perfect strangers. He loved Marvel, DC Comics , Baby Yoda and the American Eagle.

He is survived by his loving wife of 6 years, Catherine; children, Jennie Young, Rachel Deyett, Samantha (Joshua) Breyette-LaCroix, Elizabeth (Cody) Bayless; 2 grandchildren, Natalie and Meadow Breyette-LaCroix.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals on Thursday, March 31st, 2022 from 4-7pm. Funeral Service will follow at 7pm. Interment will take place at a later date.
