Jerry R. Millett Sr.

July 2, 1938 — February 24, 2025

Jerry R. Millett Sr. 86, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2025, Jerry served in the United States Army and retired from General Electric Company. Jerry was a family man and was the son of Karl and Beatrice (Balch). Jerry was predeceased by his wife Cecelia Millett (Busco) and daughter, Stacey Millett. Jerry is survived by five children and step children, Kolbie (Krista) Millett, Stephen Anderson, Stanley Anderson, Jennifer (Marc) Kaspar and Jerry Millett Jr. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great grandchildren, Megan Leathley, Derek (Elisheba) Anderson, Walter Millett, Madeline Millett, Austin(Megan) Anderson, Oakley Anderson, Maryjane Millett and Vincent Anderson and by his brother John (Mary) Millett. 

Jerry was a beekeeper and local honey producer. He had a spirit for adventure and a true passion for enjoying life to the fullest. He could find joy in the simplest things, like spotting a hawk in a tree while driving down the road. Jerry had many hobbies and interests including trap shooting, trapping, raising and racing homing pigeons (much to the neighborhoods chagrins - which likely made him enjoy it even more), gardening, gun collecting, camping, walking the dogs at local parks, treasure hunting, traveling to Arizona, old western movies and Willie Nelson's music. He loved learning about history and sharing stories of his teenage years working in the Arizona coal mines and desert adventures with is pet donkey Oso. Jerry will be missed beyond measure for his kindness and caring ways. His life was a blessing and his memory is a treasure. Jerry loved all animals . In loving memory, he would enjoy donations that help rescue and protect animals such as the The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) @ secure.aspca.org
