Jerry J. Stanton, 68, of Syracuse died unexpectedly Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital. Jerry was a wonderful husband and father, and was loved by all who knew him. "The Story Teller" will be greatly missed. Jerry retired from Comfort Windows in 2010 following 24 years of service. He was predeceased by his two brothers, Robert and Jimmy "Chief" Stanton.
Surviving are his wife of 47 years, the former Beverly Neimeier; a daughter, Christine Stanton; a sister, Barbara Creamer, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Monday at 7:00 pm at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be Monday from 4-7 pm at the funeral home, 705 N. Main St.
