On May 12th, 2016 at 6:41 PM, Jerome Abercrombie peacefully departed this life to go home.
James and Hattie Lee Abercrombie welcomed Jerome into this world January 24th, 1947 in Birmingham, AL where he attended the school system. He then relocated to Jersey City where he became the father of 4 children and 3 step children. Jerome worked many jobs. He was a factory worker and truck driver, he moved and sold furniture. He did maintenance and security once he moved to Syracuse, NY. He is loved by many in different states.
He leaves many to cherish his memory of his life, his better half Rose; 7 children, Geraldine, Tameka (Derrick), Pernell, Jerome, Kareem, Douglas (Tanya) and Deamion; 19 grandchildren, Corey, Tiffany, Tanaya, Tameek, TaChelle, Kim, Ty-Rome, Chavelle, Tasjon, Kyree, Kareema, Kareem Jr., Yasmine, Zana, Nareem, Isaiah, Tontionna, Carizma, Adrionna; 9 great grands, Rashown, Nicholas, Jamia, Tyson, RaNya, Tristian, Zymere, Tamaj, Tamia; 2 sisters, Anniebelle, Lorene; 2 brothers, Benny (Joyce), Precious (Emma); as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
