Jennifer L. Elderbroom

Jennifer Lynn Elderbroom, 38, of Syracuse, passed away July 11, 2024.

Jennifer was born in Syracuse, New York on July 12, 1985 to Edward and Deborah Elderbroom.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her father, Edward Elderbroom and grandfather, Harvey Elderbroom.

Jen graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Syracuse University. Previously she worked for the USPS in Kirkville as a route driver. Most recently she went on to work at Syracuse University as an administrative assistant.

Jen was an avid softball player and enjoyed playing in her various leagues. She loved SU sports and attending all the games. She was a faithful and loving mother to her son, Lukas. They were truly inseparable. She loved to listen to and sing her country music. Jen was a genuine person with a contagious laugh and she will be truly missed by all.

She is survived by mother, Deborah (Dave Eckerlin) Elderbroom; sister, Tiffany (Stephen) Jensen; son, Lukas Coelho; boyfriend, Patrick Hawks Coelho; grandparents, David D. and Anne C. Russell; grandmother, Nancy A. Elderbroom; as well as several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Visitation will take place on Thursday from 3-7PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday at 9:30AM in Sacred Heart Church, burial to follow in Pine Plains, Clay.

Burial will follow at Pine Plains Cemetery.
