Jennie Ann (Nadenko) Bench

A woman made of love, Jennie Ann (Nadenko) Bench, 88, of Cicero, died early morning on August 11th, 2023 at her home surrounded by loving family. Jennie was born in Syracuse on September 12, 1934 daughter of the late Anthony and Julia Nadenko. Jennie was a devoted stay at home mom caring for her children and grandchildren. Later in life she worked at SSAC in Baldwinsville and before that she was employed at K- Mart in Mattydale. Jennie loved her flower garden with hummingbirds and her yearly trips to Aruba. Most of all she enjoyed her family gatherings and birthdays. Her family loved her home cooking and avid sense of humor on those occasions.

She was predeceased by her siblings; Helen Stankevich, Katherine Brown, Mary Hilts and Frank Nadenko.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Francis "Russ"; 3 sons, Francis, Jr. (Kathy), Ronald (Colleen), Kenneth (Valerie), daughter, Donna (Tim) Pond, 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday 10am at Sacred Heart Church, Cicero. Burial will take place following the mass at Pine Plains Cemetery in Clay.
