Jeffrey A. Kreis

Jeff passed away peacefully on Friday, August 23, 2024 at his favorite place-the St. Lawrence River. He was born on August 20, 1963 in Syracuse. Known for his infectious personality, Jeff touched the lives of everyone he met, leaving people better than he found them. A talented artist, Jeff had a deep appreciation for art in all its forms and spent many of his days creating and sharing his art. He was also the proud owner of Jeff Kreis Heating and Air Conditioning, where his honesty, sense of humor and personal touch made every client feel special and confident they were taken care of. To know Jeff was to love him. 

He was predeceased by his mother Sharon Halpert and step father Stuart Halpert.

He is survived by his loving partner of 32 years Dave Chrysler, whom he cherished deeply, his father, Ernest (Carolyn) Kreis, his siblings; Debra (David) Lockwood, Kay (Rick) Carapella, Randy (Karen) Kreis, Karen Johnston (Sarge), Ernie (Laurina) Kreis, 5 nieces and nephews, 3 great nieces and nephews, along with numerous cousins.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 from 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St. N. Syracuse, where services will begin at 7pm.

Donations may be made to the Upstate Cancer Center.
