Jeffrey B. Jones, 50, of Mattydale, passed away Wednesday after a courageous battle with cancer. He graduated from Cicero High School in 1977. He served in the US Army as a combat engineer. Jeff owned and operated J&M Trucking for the past 15 years. He enjoyed being outdoors on his boat, motorcycle or snowmobile. He and his dog Jesse were volunteers with the Sunshine Friends program. Jeff was predeceased by his parents Richard and Sally Jones, and brother Rick Jones.

Jeff is survived by his wife of 24 years, Mary (Saleski) Jones, two sons; Brian and Matthew Jones, his brother; James "Tim" (Cyndi) Jones of Cicero, his sister; Winifred "Fritz" (David) Crowe of Texas, sister-in-law Cathy Jones of Texas, several nieces, nephews, relatives, his beloved dog Jesse and so many wonderful friends.

Services will be Monday; 10AM at St. Rose of Lima Church. Calling Hours will be Sunday from 1-4 PM at New Comer Funeral Home; 705 N. Main St, North Syracuse.

Jeff had a special love of children and animals, so in lieu of flowers
Contributions may be made to the SPCA or Golisano Children's Hospital
