Jeddie E. Pitre Sr., 65, passed away on Wednesday unexpectedly.
Jeddie was the son of the late Jeddie and Dorothy Pitre.
He served in the US Navy, he enjoyed hunting and playing his guitar. Jed also enjoyed cooking and spending time with his family.
Jeddie is survived by his beloved wife Cheryl of 46 years, sons, Jeddie E. (Heather) Pitre, Jr., Jeffrey (Awenha) Pitre, Jody (Shelby) Pitre, daughter, Jorie(Nicola) Capozzi, and son Mike (Elaine) Ashby, 21 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, brother, Warren (Marion) Pitre, sister, Trudy Andrus, along with aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 1-4pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, with services to follow.
