Jebamony Devanesan

Jebamony Devanesan, 83, of Syracuse, went into the presence of the Lord, on Tuesday at Crouse Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Vellore, India on October 11, 1928, Jebakka was a Public Relations Officer at Christian Medical College Hospital in Vellore, India, prior to coming to the US in 1982. She also worked as a secretary at International Friendship Evangelism with Dr. T.E. Koshy, Evangelical Chaplain, at Syracuse University for about 30 years.
Surviving are a younger sister, Elizabeth Wilson, Ottawa, Canada and younger brother Gnanamuthu, Vellore, India, along with many family members and close friends.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 5-8pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse. Services will be held on Saturday 9:30 am at International Assembly Church, 4274 LaFayette Rd., Jamesville, NY 13078. Burial will take place at White Chapel Cemetery, Kinne Rd., DeWitt, following the service.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the International Assembly.
