Jean B. Schlie, 73 of Kirkville died Saturday at University Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Karl and Josephine Schlie. Jean was a 1953 graduate of North High School. She had been employed at the Home Insurance Co., the Atlantic Co. and Wm. H. McGee & Co. Inc., retiring in 1997. She was a member of the Syracuse Ins. Women's Assoc., the Syracuse Ins. Women's Bowling League and the Mariners Club. She was a member of the Faith Gospel Church in Liverpool.
Surviving are her sisters; Joan Dwyer, Jane Wright and June Killian all of Kirkville and Linda Nichols of Faith Crossville, TN, 10 nieces and nephews and 16 great nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Thursday at 12 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memory Gardens. Calling hours will be on Thursday from 9 AM – 12 PM, at the funeral home, 705 N. Main Street.
Contributions may be made to Faith Gospel Church, Wetzel Rd, Liverpool.
