Jean R. Boyke , 80 of Central Square, passed away on Monday surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 16, 1934 daughter of the late Russell and Blanche (Mallette) Michels. She worked many years as a waitress at local diners in the Syracuse area. Jean was an avid bingo player, she enjoyed garage sales and loved baking. She was predeceased by her husbands, Joseph McLear, & Andrew Boyke, grandson, AJ Michels & brother Jack Michels.
Surviving are her daughter, Kellie (Thomas) Brutcher, 2 sons, Sonny (Cheryl) Michels, Michael (Mary) Boyke, her sister, Doris Finsel, sister-in-law, Peggy Lutz, 8 grandchildren: Thomas, Mikey, Natashia, Kimberly (Dan), Scott, Spencer, Tyler & Emily, 9 great grandchildren: Briana, Taylor, Jonathan, Kaylee, Ariana, Cameryn, Alissa, Cassandra, Savannah, 2 great great grandchildren, Alessandra & Owen Michael, along with nieces and nephews, including, Robyn, Debbie (Kevin), Randy (Robin), Russell (Erica), Mark, Denise, Debbie & Doug.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4-7pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services will be held on Saturday 10am at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Assumption Cemetery.
