Jean Gilinsky, 89, passed away on Tuesday with her loving family by her side.
Jean was born on July 3, 1927 the daughter of the late George and Anna Vogel.
Jean retired from Dey Bros. Dept. Store and she enjoyed her many trips to Atlantic City with her loving husband Simon.
Jean loved spending time with her family especially at the holidays.
Jean also enjoyed Club with her friends, going out to dinner, reading and writing letters to family and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Simon in 2010.
Jean is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Klemp, Rosemary (David) King, Deborah J. Gebhardt, grandchildren, Christopher, Tyler, Ethan, great grandson, Kyle, sister, Betty Ranalli, brother-in-law, Leon Gilinsky, along with several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Friday at Most Holy Rosary Church, 111 Roberts Ave., Syracuse, from 9 to 10 am.
A funeral mass will be held at 10am at the church.
Donations may be made to the Humane Association on Taft Rd., Liverpool, NY.
