Jason Theodore Hillriegel, 37, of Syracuse, passed away November 4, 2021. Jason was born in Johnson City, New York on July 9, 1984 to Todd Ringquiest and Heidi Hillriegel.
He loved fishing, lacrosse, basketball, football, and music. He was always playing with his nieces and nephews. He had a heart of gold and loved to brighten anyone's day with either a helping hand, a smile, or a joke. He was humorous and lit up any room. Most importantly he loved spending time with his family. He would always give the biggest hugs.
Jason was predeceased by his sister, Heather Ringquiest; grandmothers, Anne Langstaff, and Johanna Ringquiest; and a grandfather, Kenneth Hillriegel.
He is survived by his parents, Heidi Hillriegel and Todd Ringquiest; two sisters, Cortney (Richard) Ringquiest, Tori Morse; two aunts, Penny (Arthur) Hillriegel, Stephanee Ringquiest; three cousins, Olivia (John) Scannapieco, Bailey (Zach) Park, Amanda (JJ) Lynch; and nieces and nephews, Corinne Oliver, Brice Oliver, Mason and Colton Scannapieco; and an uncle, Justin Langstaff.
Calling hours are Wednesday, November 17, 2021 from 10:00 am-12:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals - North Syracuse, 705 N. Main St, Syracuse, burial in Riverview Cemetery immediately following.
