Janice Peterson, 67, of Clay went home to be with the Lord. Janice was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother and was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She retired from North Syracuse Schools in 2005 following 22 years of service as a bus driver and previously worked for Horseheads School District.
Surviving are her husband of 44 years, Mark; sons, SFC Timothy (Stacey) and Master SGT Jeffrey (Christina) Peterson; daughters, Natalie (Eddie)
Greaney and Noelle (Hal) Flickinger; brothers, James (Kathy) and Jerald (Cathy) McLean; grandchildren, Shannon, Sean and Joshua; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be 10 AM Monday at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse. Burial will be in the Veterans Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday from 1-4 PM at the funeral home, 705 N. Main St.
Contributions; may be made to the Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital
One Children's Circle Syracuse, NY 13210.
