Janette S. Chavan

Janette "Jan" Chavan, 65, of Syracuse, NY, passed away on Monday, February 8th after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Jan loved her job as a Peer Specialist at Hutchings. Connecting with people and being open to their full potential was her calling in this life. She was a communicant of the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception.

Jan was predeceased by her husband, Tejkumar in 2018.

She is survived by her parents, Teddy and Bob Crawford and brother, Steve (Lisa) Crawford.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 18th 5-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals with a service to follow at 7pm. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
