Janet M. Diffin, 77, of Cicero, passed away on Wednesday. She was born in Port Jervis, NY on Jan. 15, 1937. She graduated from Port Jervis High School in 1954. She went to Christ Hospital School of Nursing and graduated in 1957.
In 1963 she was employed by Upstate Medical Center and was clinical Manager of Orthopedic Surgery until 1993, when she retired. Janet was married to Robert Diffin in 1965 and spent her life on the farm named, "Diffindale." They raised beef cattle and quarter horses.
She is survived by a dear companion, Frederick Geddes, her sister, Virginia Buth, Alexandria, VA, brother George K. Wilson, Port Jervis, NY, and many close friends.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4-7pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse.
