Janet S. Revette

Janet S. Revette, 85, of Cicero, passed away September 5, 2024. Janet was born in Syracuse, New York on April 27, 1939 to Charles and Marion Revette. 

 Janet was a long-time employee of GE for 25 years, she later went on to work and retired from SSAC as a purchasing agent, after many years of service. Janet was an avid bowler and was a member of many blowing leagues. She made sure that every week she never missed a chance to play cards with her family and friends. She enjoyed playing Bingo, and spending time gambling at the Turning Stone. In her younger years she enjoyed painting and doing plaster crafts. She was a huge Elvis fan and collected Elvis memorabilia. Janet was the family event planner and always threw the best parties for family and friends. She was an amazing baker and everyone would compete for her chocolate cake. She made the Best chocolate cake in the world. Janet was the kind of person would do anything for anyone. She loved her family and friends, dearly, and especially loved her cats.

 She was preceded in death by Parents, Charles and Marion Revette; and 8 Siblings.

 She is survived by her Sister, Marion Ladowski; Brother, William Revette; Best Friend, Marilyn J. DeLong; and a plethora of Nieces and Nephews.

 Family and friends may call on Thursday, September 12, 2024 from 11:00 am-1:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals - North Syracuse, 705 N. Main St, Syracuse, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:00 pm. 

Interment at Pine Plains Cemetery. 

 In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Humane CNY.
